GENERAL INFORMATION


The Milton Police Department is a full-time police department serving the residents of the Borough of Milton.  Milton is located in northern section of Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.  The department is dispatched through Union County Communications Center located in the Borough of Lewisburg, Union County.  The Milton PD is comprised of nine full-time sworn Police Officers.  Non-Police personnel consist of one full-time Police Clerk, one part-time Police Clerk and the Animal Control Officer.  Milton's Mayor heads the department.

POLICE REPORTS

If you were involved in an incident or vehicle accident from which the Milton Police Department responded, and you require a report, contact the Police Clerk Monday through Friday between 8am and 4pm to request the report.  Please allow one to two weeks from date of incident/accident to process the report.  Fees for these reports are as follows:

BIKES AND PROPERTY

 The Milton Police Department is currently storing bikes and other miscellaneous property obtained either by incident investigations or by property found by residents or police.  If you believe the Milton Police has your bike please contact Officer Eric Goodbrod at 742-8757 ext. 608.  If you believe the Milton Police has your miscellaneous property please contact Officer Jason Engleman at 742-8757 ext. 602.


POLICE PATCH EXCHANGE PROGRAM

 

The Milton Police Department policy on patches:

 Law Enforcement Organizations:

             The Milton Police Department will provide a patch to another law enforcement agency at no cost providing the requesting department makes the request on official letterhead and a patch from the requesting department is sent as trade.

 All other requests:          

             The Milton Police Department will provide a patch to private individual collectors providing the following:

            Please provide a mailing address along with a check or money order made out to the Milton Police Department in the amount of three dollars ($ 3.00) to cover patch and shipping and handling cost.
